Program Outcomes

  • Position patients for radiographic examinations
  • Understand and apply principles of radiation protection for the patient, self, and others
  • Identify and perform basic patient-care skills and techniques

Program Scope

About the Program After completing degree in this field student will become Radiologist (MD), Radiology Technologists/ Radiographer, Radiology Technicians, Ultrasound Technician/ Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, MRI Technician, CT Tech/ CAT Scan Technologist/ CT Scan Technologist. Graduates can pursue research and development opportunities in the field of medical imaging technology. They can contribute to the development of new imaging techniques, improve imaging quality, and explore innovative applications in the healthcare industry. With experience and further specialization, professionals in radio imaging technology can progress to advanced roles such as senior radiographers, imaging consultants, or department managers. They may also choose to pursue higher education, such as a master's or doctoral degree, to delve deeper into research or academic positions.
