Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) is one of the prominent education hubs in India. The institution is delivering academic excellence with complete panache. Being the Leading Educational Institute of the Region, it is a preferred destination of Indian and international learners to attain their career goals. To create an ecosystem of Startups & inculcate the entrepreneurial traits BFGI has also established “Baba Farid School of Entrepreneurship (BFSoE)” with an objective to support the budding entrepreneurs to establish their new venture through constant guidance & mentoring through various training programs & industrial collaborations.

BFSoE, an Incubation Centre is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. To accomplish its goal, BFSoE facilitates startups, enterprises, faculty and students by providing technical and business support & services. BFSoE continuously interacts with various Government bodies and departments to enable the students to become job providers rather than job seekers.

The organizing of Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps in association with Govt. of India through the Department of Science and Technology (DST) is a routine affair. In these camps, more than 500 students from Agriculture, Engineering & other various streams have participated. The active participation of Baba Farid SoE in Govt. of India and Govt. of Punjab initiatives, like Startup India Punjab Yatra, related to Startup India gives ample exposure to the students to become entrepreneurs. BFGI every year organizes the Business Plan Competition with the name of Biz-Craft in which the teams from all over India participate. iCan (Ideation Contest) is a proud annual event of BFGI in which students of BFGI pitch their ideas. Selected ideas are provided with Business support services.
