Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility requirement to pursue an Electrical Engineering program is:

  • B. Tech Electrical Engineering (4 Year): Admission will be made based on rank of JEE (Main) conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for both 85% quota for resident of Punjab and 15% quota for outside Punjab.
  • OR
    The candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by central/state government through legislation with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
    • Chemistry
    • Biotechnology
    • Computer Science
    • Biology
  • B. Tech Electrical Engineering-Lateral Entry (3 Year): All the Candidates who have passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved Institution and have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST) in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology shall be eligible to apply.
  • OR
    All those candidates who have passed B.Sc. NM Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject shall be eligible to apply.

Site Engineer (Electrical) Role of Site Engineer is to study the typical design plans. Project Coordination with architect, project management team as well as clients. Co-ordination with workers and labors for project execution.
