Field Quest: Innovating Beyond Boundaries (Field based project)

Innovating Beyond Boundaries (Field based project) Embark on a journey to explore, analyze, and innovate in real-world environments. This theme challenges students to push the boundaries of traditional fieldwork, creating impactful projects rooted in exploration and hands-on experiences.

Guidelines for Field Quest

  1. The project should be based on a field survey.
  2. A team can have a maximum of five members (including one mentor).
  3. Each team has to bring a poster/flex to present their fieldwork/field project.
  4. Dimension of the poster (3 feet x 2 feet; Height and Width respectively).
  5. The following headings should be clearly mentioned in the Poster/Flex as per different categories:
    • Introduction, Objectives, Material methods, Salient features, Result, and Conclusions/Outcomes
    • Students can make color combinations according to their interest; make sure the words are visible.
    • Students can add images of projects/field/products, etc., for better understanding for each category.
  6. Evaluation will be based on the novelty of work, complexity, clarity, feasibility, sustainability, and potential for future work progression.

Lab Innovate: Igniting Ideas in laboratory (Laboratory based project)

Unleash your creativity within the lab! This theme focuses on laboratory-based projects that harness scientific experimentation and research to ignite groundbreaking ideas, fostering innovation through controlled and insightful investigations.

1. Projects can be in the form of live demonstration/ models and should be based on innovative ideas.

2. During evaluation, the live projects should be in working condition.

3. A Team can have maximum five members (including one mentor).

4. Evaluation will be done on the basis of novelty of work, complexity, clarity, feasibility, sustainability and potential for future work progression.

Software Synergy: Integrating Technologies for Impact (software/application based project)

Merge creativity with technology to develop software and applications that make a difference. This theme encourages students to design and build digital solutions that address real-world challenges, demonstrating the power of integrated technologies.

Product Mania (Product development)

Dive into the world of product development! This theme invites students to conceive, design, and create innovative products that cater to consumer needs, showcasing their ability to turn ideas into tangible, market-ready solutions.

Guidelines for Product Mania

1. The product must be an original creation of the participants.

2. Plagiarism or use of pre-existing commercial products is strictly prohibited.

3. Products should be designed to address a specific need, problem, or market gap.

4. The product can be a physical item or a prototype of a concept that has the potential for commercialization.

5. A working prototype /product must be displayed during the competition.

6. The prototype should be safe to handle and demonstrate.

7. Student can participate at any stage i.e. idea stage, MVP stage and Commercialization stage.

8. Evaluation will be done on the basis of novelty of work, complexity, clarity, feasibility, sustainability and potential for future work progression.

Prizes (For Each Category)

   - First Prize: 11000/- and Certificate
   - Second Prize: 5100/- and Certificate
   - Third Prize: 3100/- and Certificate
Note: Participation certificates will be given to all participants.
